Privacy Policy

Edmen Talk is an engagement strategy company based in Kerala, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect — when you subscribe to our updates, register for an event, book a consultation, apply as a vendor or message us on WhatsApp — and how we handle it.

What we collect

We only add you to our contact list when you ask us to:

• Subscribing to updates — your name and your email address and/or WhatsApp number, from the form on our website, or your WhatsApp number and WhatsApp profile name if you send SUBSCRIBE (or START) to our WhatsApp number
• Registering for an event — your name and phone number, via WhatsApp or the registration form, plus which event you registered for
• Applying as a vendor — your city and Instagram handle, along with your name and phone number
• Booking a consultation — your name, email address, chosen time slot and anything you add to the booking
• Paying for a booking — payment is handled entirely by Razorpay; we see whether the payment succeeded, never your card, UPI or bank details

Messaging our WhatsApp number does not, by itself, add you to our contact list or subscribe you to anything.

How we use it

We use your details only for what you signed up for: sending the updates you subscribed to, managing your event registration (including your entry pass), following up on your vendor application, and running the consultation you booked. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

Unsubscribing

• WhatsApp — reply STOP to our WhatsApp number at any time and we'll stop sending you broadcasts. Reply SUBSCRIBE if you change your mind.
• Email — reply to any of our emails, or write to [email protected], and we'll remove you.

Website analytics

We use PostHog (data hosted in the US) and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use edmentalk.com — which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked, and how people move through booking a call or playing our fest game. PostHog stores an anonymous identifier in your browser to recognise repeat visits. We never send your name, phone number or email address to either service, and we do not use this data for advertising.

Selfies in our fest game

If you take a selfie at the photo booth in our fest game, it is sent to Black Forest Labs (an image-generation service) only to paint a cartoon of you. We don't store your selfie or the painting on our side. The painting and the name you give the game stay in your own browser, and you can remove them at the photo booth or by clearing your browser's data for edmentalk.com.

Who we share it with

Your data is stored or passes through these services, which we use to run Edmen Talk:

• HubSpot — our contact list (subscribers, event registrations, vendor applications)
• Wati and Meta (WhatsApp) — messages to and from our WhatsApp number pass through Meta and our WhatsApp provider, Wati, which keeps the conversation history so we can reply to you
• Cal.com — consultation bookings
• Razorpay — payments for bookings
• Cloudflare — hosts our website and the forms you submit on it
• Black Forest Labs — paints the cartoon from a selfie you take in our fest game (see above); nothing is kept by us

We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you ask us to delete them. To request deletion, email [email protected] and we will remove your record promptly.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
